Do You Remember When Was The Last Lime You Clean The Pillows You Are Sleeping On? Here’s How To Do it!

Everyone changes the sheets and the pillowcases from the bedroom, but almost nobody pays much attention to the pillows. As specialists claim, individuals should clean up the pillows they sleep on a minimum of three times on an annual basis. Spring is one the best seasons to clean the bedroom and wash the pillows you sleep on.

Do you remember when was the last time you washed your pillows? Well, you need to understand that changing the pillowcases regularly is insufficient. Rober Oexman, the head of the Sleep to Live institute, recommends that you clean your pillows twice a year, and that you regularly change the pillows. If your pillows are suitable for the washing machine, place two of them in it and clean them.

Washing two pillows at once is suggested given that this way they will stay protected from damage, knowing that the washing machine drum can reach a pretty high speed.

You have probably noticed the yellow color of the pillows they typically get after some period of time. Not everybody notices this due to the fact that we usually use clean pillowcases for the pillows. However, we need to do something about this. Put the pillow in the washing machine, put one cup of bleaching powder, hot water, a cup of regular washing powder, and include 2 to 3 tablespoons of baking soda.

Before cleaning the pillows, check the label on them then wash them on the highest allowed temperature. When the cleaning process ends, squeeze the wetness from the pillow by hitting it from every side in order to accelerate the drying process. Let the pillow outside to dry and do not use it up until it gets entirely dry.
