Women need to know the threats of the chemical products that they use. Hair dyes include around 5,000 different chemicals, many of them have actually been found to be carcinogenic in animal research studies.
How to dye your hair naturally, without using chemicals
Carrot or beet juice for red hair
A fantastic way to include a short-term reddish color to your hairs, is by dying your hair with carrots or beets, without handling any nasty chemicals.
- Beet juice (can add carrot juice)
- Whipped coconut oil
You must mix the coconut oil and beet juice, and apply to head completely. Cover with plastic wrap. Leave it to stay for an hour, then wash, clean, and condition as always.
Chamomile for golden blonde hair
- 8 tablespoons of chamomile
- 300ml of water
- lemon juice
First of all, you should pour the hot water over the dried chamomile flowers. Heat it for 15 minutes. Then cool and filter. After that, include the lemon juice.
Use the mix onto the hair, comb it and let it dry. If you dry the hair in the sun, you will have better results. Then, wash your hair completely with hair shampoo.
Walnut hulls for dark brown color
Crush the walnuts, and boil the hulls in a pot of water for at least half an hour. Let the mix cool, and let your hair absorb the color for up to 20 minutes. Be sure not to rub it into your scalp too much.
Onion peel for gray hair
You need to include half a glass of onion peels into a full glass of boiling water. Leave it to stay for twenty minutes. Cover the glass to prevent the heat getting out.nUse gauze in order to separate the liquid from the peels. Add 2 tablespoons of glycerol to the liquid. Use the mixture to your hair every day, until you reach the wanted result. As soon as you rub it into your hair, wash your hair as you normally would, and after that let dry naturally.
